SONIA LENDING MONEY TO RAJIV GANDHI BEING WAITRESS

Indira herself expressed anguish to Dr Subramaniam Swamy on this score in late 1965 when she invited him to a private tea at the Guest House in Brandeis University. Rajiv's letters to Sanjay, who was also in London then, clearly indicate that he was in financial debt to Sonia because he requested Sanjay who obviously had more access to money, to pay off the debt.
